Kaipara Oysters

Kaipara Oysters has created new organic oyster (Crassostrea gigas) brand in the fresh waters out of the Kaipara Harbor on the northeast coast of New Zealand North Island.          

Kaipara Oysters is certified under Asure Quality Organic Certification Program, one of the organic food organizations of the world.          

Dan Dollimore from Kaipara Oysters put forwards the secret of a great oyster as "it would be perfect by the way of presented the product with high condition but generally oysters are farmed away from the end consumer. In order to overcome this significant obstacle, we have packed our oysters including health minerals with the highest conditions and natural spices at the closest plant."

Kaipara oysters are presented with half shell and with long shelf life.

Each Kaipara oyster are individually chosen and graded in order to present a similar view on the same series.

Oysters are placed on specially developed plates and covered with protective sheath and transported under optimum temperature. Catering boxes vary in sizes. For retailing, Kaipara Oysters has produced packages with 12 oysters on one tray and 20 trays in 1 box.
